I have stayed at the Parkview Motor Inn ( http://www.parkviewmotorinn.co.nz a great little recently fully refurbished motel in central Pukekohe ) for the last 2 nights and it has reminded me of 2 things I didn’t realise I was missing living in an apartment in central Wellington …

1) It is really really quiet at night when you don’t live above a busy road, footpaths frequented by drunkards and middle of the night rubbish collections.

2) The sound of rain on the roof is fricken awesome and living on the 4th floor of a 5 story building has robbed me of that pleasure.

Sentimental moment over, I won’t list the positives of living where I do now compared to where I did 18 months ago :-)

The closest to USA colours I had to wear to the USA vs roorooters game at the Wellington Stadium

Heaven is a motorcycle, a million miles of road, and all eternity to ride. Hell is the same scenario, but the motorcycle won’t start

When approaching a corner, stay on the gas until you see Jesus or Elvis, then brake HARD

Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window

Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly

I’d rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about god than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle

If she would let me ride her as much as my motorcycle does … I’d be home now

Why do I ride? Because football, basketball & baseball only require one ball

Full tank, empty bladder, I’m good for 200 miles
